LAPD released the following composite sketch of Suspect #1.
Los Angeles Police are offering a $50,000 reward for information on three suspects who stabbed a man in the fall of last year, causing him to die.
On the morning of Sept. 2, 2011, Min Yin was working at the Joy & Louis Corp on East 18th Street when a male Latino arrived to pick up an item he'd purchased. As he was leaving the premises, two other male Latinos arrived and forced themselves inside, stabbing Yin during a struggle. All three suspects then left the store.
Yin was admitted to LAC-USC Medical Center and remained there in critical condition until he died on December 26. He was 75.
In a press conference on February 9, LAPD asked for the community's help to find the suspects responsible for Yin's murder. Working with the L.A. City Council, Ninth District Councilwoman Jan Perry, whose district is where the murder took place, approved the $50,000 reward for information that leads to the identification, apprehension and conviction of Yin's killer or killers.
